What should I use to clean a jacuzzi tub? Its a regular bath tub, but has jets. What do I use?

once every three months, purge and clean the circulating system. fill whirlpool with warm water and add two teaspoons of powdered dishwasher (not laundry) detergent and one half cup of household bleach to filled whirlpool. Activate whirlpool system in accordance with operating instructions for two minutes. Drain and refill whirlpool with cold water. Circulate for five minutes. Drain whirlpool completely when finished.

...Pay particular attention to the manufacturer's maintenance procedures for cleaning the whirlpool tub's circulation system. Failure to do so can result in the growth and transmission of infectious bacteria. Bath water residue contains soap scum, dirt, bath oils, body secretions, and skin cells. With each use of the whirlpool tub these organic materials mix with mineral deposits in the water to form scale deposits. The warm humid environment that the whirlpool鈥檚 plumbing provides is the ideal place for microorganisms to grow. They can cause many different ailments (ie. kidney, bladder, skin, vaginal, eye and respiratory infections, just to name a few).

However if you still have the owners manual make sure it doesnt recommend something else or you could call the manifacture and request cleaning instructions but that is how I was told to maintain ours and it seems to work. As for the TUB itself any cleaner you normally use on a regular tub should workWhat should I use to clean a jacuzzi tub? Its a regular bath tub, but has jets. What do I use?

Ask the manufactorer and they should also have supplies at most whirlpool stores. Check the company who made the tub/whirpool.
To clean the tub or clean out the jets?

You can use any cleaner you would to clean a regular tub. Scrubbing bubbles is my preference, or Kaboom to get hard water scum off.

If you need to clean out the jets, you will need to contact the manufacturer to get their recommendation. Most likely they will have a website you can surf or email a question to.
