Does self re-enamleing your bath tub really work?

They make it look so easy in the TV shows but without the correct tools and alot of confidence you can do it too slow and make a right mess. If its an old / expensive suite i would recommend having it done professionally. If you do try to do it yourself be confident, assured, even and quick.

Good LUCK.Does self re-enamleing your bath tub really work?
I work in a school doing year-around work and 3 years ago I put new enamel on 2 sinks and they still look great. I didn't have trouble with anything but the smell. I opened windows and had a fan going, but still made me sick and had to have a guy help me out, taking turns to get away from the fumes! Good luck.Does self re-enamleing your bath tub really work?
If you follow all directions to the tee it will be nice for a while. Most tub finishes are baked on. You cannot do this. Prep is the most important step. If you slack off on it, you might as well not do it.
no- not unless you have a steady hand. I tried it, waste of money and time. Get a new suite cheaper.
Its very hard to do properly. I would use a company that does it.
Nah, ud b throwing good money after bad. Bite the bullet and buy a new bath
