How do i remove a bath tub spigot?

it unscrews from the wall....get a pipe wrench , tighten it up to where there is just about 1/4'' gap in the mouth of it.....stick the mouth of the wrench in the opening where the water comes out.....now turn counter clockwise.....remember righty -tighty , lefty- loosey...it should unscrewfrom the wallHow do i remove a bath tub spigot?
Cheezy is right. there are two kinds; threaded on and set scew on a copper pipe.

The downside of the threaded kind is the threads breaking off on the valve, which means you'd have to get an easy-out to get the threads out.How do i remove a bath tub spigot?
i believe you can not
There suppose to be a trap door on the other side of the wall. Please turn off the water supply first. Should be able to loosen it from back of wall.
some spigots screw on if the pipe has been threaded---the one we bought just pushes onto the pipe then underneath is a screw that needs to be tightened with an allen key
Capkev has it right, I put rubber or sloth around it first to protect the finish on it the try to turn it off, It will be stuck so will take a lot of pressure
whats a spigot???????
feel around it, some have a set screw on the bottom that you loosen and it will just slide off the pipe. use a mirror to see up under it near the wall. if you don't find any screw hole then yours is threaded on to a pipe and can be unscrewed turning it counterclockwise. good luck.
