If your finish on the tub is scratched and ucky then grab a scrub brush and some bathtub cleaner of your choice and have at! If the finish isn't a mess then try Lysol basin, tub and tile cleaner. (I use it with a scrub brush to get my tub white, but then again the tub is old and the finish is shot!)Whats the best thing you've used to clean embedded dirt in a bath tub? any ideas?

if you have an old cast iron tub with a porcline finish that is dull and the protective shiny finish has come off use cheap dollar store oven cleaner. Spray it on leave it set for however long it says then wipe it out and clean your tub as usual. Will take all the stains out!
real cheap foamy shaving creme
baking soda will do the trick
the only thing i find that cleans the bathtub really good is the vim cleanser or the mister clean majic reach with tub and tile pads
i just cleaned my bathroom an I use Comet Spray Gel with bleach.


Spray the whole bathroom and let is sit 10-15 minutes. When finished just rinse out.
