My Bath tub in the bathroom is EXTREMELY dirty. How do I clean it with out much effort?

There are a few things you can try. The first, you can try baking soda and lemon juice, together they make a mild abrasive. Just make sure to rinse when done!!

For a porcelin tub you can also try sprinkling a little Alum(found in the spice aisle of the grocery store), add some lemon juice to it, and work it in really well. This helps with dinginess. If the stains don't come right off, let it sit, even up to overnight, but if you let it sit overnight, add some more lemon juice in the morning. Then rinse really well. You may need to do this a few times, just make sure to rinse when done.

To get rid of soap scum, in a spray bottle, put half water and half white vinegar. Mix up, spray, and wipe, this works great!!

For the grout, use 50/50 water and bleach, work into the grout with a toothbrush. You can also use one cup of Borax and to this add two cups baking soda and add one cup hot water. make a stiff paste, stir together, you may need to add more water to make it spreadable. Then brush this on the grout and scrub back and forth with a scrub brush. Rinse with a spray bottle of water and wipe, this is all natural and safe. Just make sure to rinse this thoroughly!!

For water stains in the tub, use a pure pumice stone, takes away the water stains.

For mold and mildew on grout, use vodka, yep, vodka! It's a disinfectant! Put it in a spray bottle, spray it on, let sit, then rinse off.

I hope these help!My Bath tub in the bathroom is EXTREMELY dirty. How do I clean it with out much effort?
Use the all purpose cleaner, ';spray nine'; It works great. Just spray some onto the tub, and let it stand, for about two minutes, and you will see the dirt coming right off. Then wipe it down, with a clean rag, and you can see the difference..Here is the website..

Try using Kaboom and Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. They do wonders together on showers and tubs.
Believe it or not, I found a cleaner at the $ Store. It's put out by Home Choice and is a Toilet Bowl Cleaner, but works fantastic on ceramic. I spray, let sit 5-10 mins. and does it clean. Just rinse with water (no brush, no scrubbing). It's a foam.
use cleanser and elbow grease
lots of bleach
Fill tub with hot water and put about 1/2 bottle of all purpose cleaner in (pine sol , Mr, Clean ) and let set overnight , In morning remove water and remove remaining of grime with full strenght allpurpose cleaner and a green chore boy scratcher with elbow grease . Happy scrubbing
Pay someone to do it for you.
if you want it cleaned w/out much effort you'll need to hire someone else to clean it... are you kidding me?

Spray it with a bathroom cleaner first, let it set for a couple of minutes then scrub w/ a scrub-brush - you do know what a scrub-brush is, don't you? Rinse, then use a soft-scrub, comet type detergent to clean the bottom of the tub.

If you want to save yourself the EXTREME effort of cleaning your bathtub in the future you have several options: 1) don't use it, 2) clean it after ever use, 3) wax it with car wax and then lightly clean it after every use.

It's a bathtub - you don't go INTO it clean - the dirt has to go somewhere!
u lazy %26amp; nasty
GROSS!!! extremely??? Ajax or comet usually works well, then maybe you should use that stuff you spray on the tub and shower every time you get out to keep it up!!
comet or ajax. The first couple of times it will take a little work. But if you keep up with it it shouldn't require so much time or effort.
My bathtub used to be dirty too, and I used Scrubbing Bubbles Foam bathrooom cleaner. Just spray it on and let sit for 10-15 minutes then take a scrub brush or sponge and rub the whole tub. Should only take about a minute. Then rinse.
Try ';Barkeeper's Friend'; it's cheap and abrasive so wear gloves but it really get's the dirt and stains out, kind of like Ajax or Comet but better! Use it with a scrub brush or sponge. There are instructions on the bottle.
How about not too much effort plus no toxic substances:

Spray the tub with pure white vinegar, let it soak in for 15 minutes, and then scrub it with baking soda.
Simple Green. Soak the tub then leave it to cut through the grime. Return, respray, then wipe away. Rinse well.
