I pour drain opener in bath tub, what do I do now?

Now after a day of the house smelling like rotten eggs, I see the rest of the info on the container and says not recommended for bath tub drains and it was recommended at the hardware store. My house reaks and the water still lets out slow in the bathtub......IDKI pour drain opener in bath tub, what do I do now?
Before you do anything

run hot water down the drain

to wash out all traces of the drain cleaner.

Lots and lots of hot water...I pour drain opener in bath tub, what do I do now?
Buy a plunger.

Fill the bath tub with some water and then use the plunger on the plug hole. The plunger is more effective when there's water in the plug hole.

Rinse thoroughly afterwards :)
hot water
Pour hot vinegar down the drain. That should clean it out.
Pour some bleach in your drains periodically and let it sit for awhile.

Then flush with lots of water to keep them draining well.
Fill the tub with warm water and bubble bath and take a bath. Enjoy!
FYI - A plunger will not work on a tub drain. Huh? Bet you didn't know that. Tub drains almost always have an over flow. The overflow is usually under the little knob that lifts and closes the stopper. If your stopper is in the drain itself you may just have an overflow w/o the stopper handle.

When you try and plunge the tub the pressure you are trying to exert to push/pull the clog is going in and out of the overflow, not down the drain as you want.

What to do? Remove the cover for the over flow. Seal it up. Maybe use a wet rag. Now plunge. Should be good to go.

Oh, and to others.... Same issue with some bath sinks. Also double kitchen sinks need the second drain covered.
