How do i get a rust stain out of my bath tub (please read the extra detail)?

i have made it go away numerous times with bleach, rust cleaner, etc. but it always comes back the next time someone takes a shower...why is it doing this and what can i do to make it go away for good? thanks! How do i get a rust stain out of my bath tub (please read the extra detail)?
The enamel on the tub has been etched or worn away, this means that the dirt has small crevices to settle in.

One way to help keep it clean is to use a car wax product to repel the water and dirt, or get the tub re-coated.How do i get a rust stain out of my bath tub (please read the extra detail)?
More info please!! Where is the stain? Below the faucet where water may possibly be dripping? In a groove where moisture tends to sit? or just on the side wall of the tub??

My guess is that the rust is clinging to something on the surface of the tub. The surface may be scuffed and therefore collecting the rust. You could try resealing your bathtub if thats the case.

I'd also suggest installing an inline sediment filter. We have one that collects some of the rust and particles from the water and you'd be amazed as to what gets filtered out in a couple months. It will help, but not completely eliminate.

Is it possible you have a small leak in the shower head? My bathtub faucet was doing this, and I discovered it was leaking where the water faucet joined the wall, in a small, slow trickle that was only visible on very close inspection. Try changing the faucets, or possibly just the faucet washers.
white king?

oh wait i think that's bleach... um

maybe well I'm not sure but my bath gets rusty too its just because of the moisture and stuff..

if theres a window in your bathroom.. have it open to get rid of some on the steam it will help =).
