the stopper is metal and when i tiwst and pull out it wont come out. how do i get it to come out?My bath tub drain is clogged and i can't pull the tub stopper out to see what is going on?

there are many different types of ';tub pop ups';. sometimes they get stuck due to hair holding it which may be why you are not draining well.
depending on your type, it MAY unscrew, or ';MAY'; just pull straight up.
if you have a mechanism %26lt;trip lever%26gt; mounted on the side, you may have to dis-assemble that part first. %26lt; i doubt it but...%26gt;
Most of the metal stoppers are metal and unscrew, yours may be corroded. Try plunging with the stopper in the up position.
