Can I repair rusty scratch in bath tub with VEZEL-PLAMUUR sealant?

the bath tub is a plastic moulded unit. and the circular scratch, 1cm in diameter, is not yet a gaping hole but has begun to ooze thin layer of rust. i don't wish to replace the tub as it is not more than six years old. can i repair the damage and hide the ugly dot with VEZEL-PLAMUUR sealant, which is a fibre putty?Can I repair rusty scratch in bath tub with VEZEL-PLAMUUR sealant?
tub can't be plastic if it is rusting. It is a steel tub with some coating on it. you need to neutralize the rust first. If the scratch is deep enough, fill it, otherwise buy some epoxy paint to touch up the scratch. Clean the area first. if it is plastic,then it can not be rusting.any product in the marine industry will buy you some time,but if it is rusting,there is no way to permanently repair it because it it melted on porcelain and will need to be replaced.that is why when i work on a tub,i protect it with a moving blanket.
